According to reports, the individual, whose name has not been disclosed for privacy reasons, was last seen on July 20 in the coastal town of Sihanoukville. Authorities in Cambodia have launched an investigation into the disappearance, but so far, no leads have been found.
The Singaporean Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has confirmed the missing person’s identity and is working closely with Cambodian authorities to locate him. In a statement released on August 1, the MFA said, “We are in touch with the local authorities and are providing all necessary assistance to help locate the missing individual.” The MFA has also advised Singaporeans traveling to Cambodia to exercise caution and stay informed about local developments.
As the search for the missing Singaporean continues, his family and friends back home are growing increasingly worried. “We are doing everything we can to ensure his safe return,” said a family member, who wished to remain anonymous.
