Air India Makes Historic Maiden Flight from Singapore to Bengaluru

Singapore, 04 August 2026 – Air India, one of the largest airlines in India, has successfully operated its maiden flight from Singapore to Bengaluru, marking a significant milestone in its expansion plans in Southeast Asia. The flight, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, departed from Changi Airport at 9:00 AM local time and landed at Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru at 12:30 PM Indian Standard Time.

This new route is part of Air India’s strategic plan to increase its presence in the Singaporean market and to provide more connectivity options between Singapore and India. The airline has been working closely with the Singaporean authorities to ensure the smooth operation of the flight, and the response from passengers has been overwhelmingly positive. The flight offers a total of 300 seats and will operate three times a week, with the option to increase frequencies depending on demand.
